White-Label vs Custom App Development: What Each Route Costs and How to Choose
White-label from $8,000, custom from $15,000. An honest breakdown of the three app routes, what each costs, and five questions that tell you which one fits your business.

Short answer: a white-label app starts from $8,000 setup plus $500 per month, a growth build (ready-made base plus custom features) runs $12,000 to $25,000 with a monthly fee from $750, and a full custom build starts from $15,000, typically $15,000 to $60,000, plus about $1,000 per month. These are indicative "from" prices, confirmed after a discovery call.
The right route is not about budget alone. It is about what your business looks like a year from now: how fast you need to launch, how unusual your workflow is, and whether the app is your product or a tool behind it. Here is an honest way to decide, including when we would tell you not to build custom.
The three routes

Alt: White-label, growth and custom app routes with starting prices.
White-label: launch on a proven product
We take a product that already works, such as a telemedicine platform or a delivery suite, put your brand on it and configure it for your operation. You get the customer app, the provider or driver app and the admin console, running under your name.
It is the fastest and cheapest route, and it suits a business whose flow is close to the standard: book, order, deliver, pay. The trade is less control. You get the product's design and feature set, configured for you, not shaped around you.
Growth: ready-made base, custom features
The middle route. You start on the proven base and we build the custom features your operation needs on top of it, so you launch sooner than a full custom build but still cover what makes you different. Budget $12,000 to $25,000 and a monthly fee from $750, depending on scope.
Custom: built around your workflow
A custom build starts from a blank repo and is shaped by your process, your integrations and the way you want the product to feel. Expect $15,000 to $60,000, plus about $1,000 per month after launch for maintenance, hosting and support.
Choose custom when your workflow genuinely differs from the standard, when the app itself is your product, or when you need to own and extend every part of the system over time.
What actually moves the price

Alt: What raises the cost on any app route.
Whichever route you pick, the same things move the number: how many user roles and apps you need (customer, provider, admin), payments and refunds through a real gateway, integrations with systems you already run, maps and messaging at scale, AI features, and the design level you expect.
How to choose: five honest questions

Alt: Checklist for choosing between white-label and custom.
- How standard is your flow? If 80% of what you need is the usual book-order-deliver-pay pattern, start white-label. Custom pays off only where you are genuinely different.
- What is driving your launch date? If a season, an event or a funding conversation sets the date, white-label gets you live sooner. We agree a timeline only after scope, so bring the date early.
- Is the app your product or your plumbing? If you sell the app itself, you will want to own and extend it, which points to custom. If it supports a service you already sell, white-label often wins.
- What are the three things v1 must do well? A lean first version, whatever the route, beats a large one. Scope the three things, launch, and add the rest once it earns.
- Who else decides? The earlier partners and budget holders see the options, the fewer stalls later.
What the money buys
A quote from us is not two developers' time. It is architecture, development, QA, project management, deployment and post-launch support from one team that answers for the result. If your budget is tight, we would rather phase the scope than cut the quality: a lean v1 sized to your budget, then the rest as it proves out. A freelancer can be the right call for a small, well-defined task; for a full product, the risk of coordinating it moves to you.
On every route you get a named point of contact, weekly updates and a private channel with our team. On custom builds, source code and IP transfer to you once development is complete and fully paid, written into the agreement.
Costs outside our price
- Third-party services (maps, SMS, video, payment gateway fees) at cost.
- App Store and Google Play fees.
- Cloud hosting as your usage grows.
